OKPEBHOLO SACKS TRADITIONAL RULERS OVER ALLEDGED ILLEGAL INSTALLATION IN AKOKO EDO

  THE Governor of Edo State, Sen Monday Okpebholo on Thursday sacked two traditional rulers: the Olososo of Ososo, Bamidele Obaitan and the ruler of Ikpeshii/Egbegere Clans ,Zaiki Luckman Odamah III both in Akoko-Edo local government area. A statement by the Secretary to State Government, Umar Musa Ikhlor. said the governor revoked the appointments of both traditional rulers in the interest of peace and stability of the communities after reviewing the circumstances surrounding ongoing disputes relating to the traditional leadership of the communities. The statement said the governor approved the appointment of Mr. Nicholas Odamah as the Regent of the Ikpeshi/Egbegere Clan while elders of the four quarters (Unukhus), the Council of Chiefs, and the Elders of Ososo were directed to meet, consult and submit a consensus candidate for appointment to the vacant stool of the headship of Osoao. EZIOBE MONARCHS COMMEND OKPEBHOLO'S TRANSFORMATIONAL STRIDE

  The Eziobe Traditional Council (ETC) of Igarra , in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of Edo State , has commended Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State for his exceptional leadership, inclusive governance and remarkable developmental achievements within his first year in office. In a statement issued at the council’s meeting in Igarra, the Traditional rulers extolled the governor for demonstrating a clear vision for growth and for restoring the confidence of Edo people in government through visible and people-oriented projects. COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTER HOLD MARTICULATION CEREMONY

The Class of 2025/2026 Training Session matriculates today. 100 slots available to be trained for FREE for the 2025/2026 Session. 82 Students Matriculates. Hopefully come May 2026 the center will be graduating the 82 students that Matriculated today. Spokesman for the Community Learning Center Mr Simon Onyanna disclosed this during the ceremony that attracted guest and community stakeholders. on heaing from the students especially the Enwan group who were too excited to be amongst the trainers. They commended the efforts of thier Tutors and also promised to spread the good news to their community youths so they can also maximise such golden opportunuity to be self-reliant.  God bless the trainers!
